Center of Carrboro

CVS is in the process of buying up properties in downtown Carrboro across from Weaver Street Market to potentially build a ~24,000 sq foot 2-story building that would house a 24-hr CVS on the 1st floor and CVS storage and office space on the second floor. Plus a very large parking lot. This is obviously of great interest to everyone who lives in Carrboro since it will set the tone for future development in downtown. This corner needs to be developed in a useful way for everyone in the community.

CVS meeting: Wed. Dec. 7th, 7PM at Carrboro Town Hall

The CVS Developer is holding a neighborhood meeting on Wednesday December 7th at 7-9PM at Town Hall. Please come if you can.

And please submit questions ahead of time to chris.bostic@kimley-horn.com

UPDATE:
The town offered comments to CVS and then CVS revised it's plan. The changes were presented to the Planning Board a few weeks ago and changes appear to be minimal.

There is a rumor that the meeting has been cancelled. I haven't been able to confirm that.. I'll post again if I get hold of the developer folks

Rumor was false. The meeting is still happening at town hall.!!!
